Mórahalom Opens Towards Szeged with the City Card System

Due to its great success, in 2026 discounted offers will not only target accommodations in Mórahalom but will also extend towards Szeged.

Private accommodations in Mórahalom continue to welcome guests with an outstanding offer: visitors holding a Tourism Card can purchase a day ticket to the Szent Erzsébet Mórahalom Spa for only 2,500 HUF instead of the full price.

The aim of the new communication is to ensure that guests staying in Szeged can easily discover the opportunities offered by nearby Mórahalom. The short travel distance and significant discount make the town an ideal choice for both day trips and longer stays.

As a result, visitors booking accommodation in participating properties in Szeged and holding a Tourism Card can now enjoy a 20% discount on entrance tickets to the Szent Erzsébet Mórahalom Spa and the Ezer Év Parkja.

The discount applies to both adult and family day tickets, making Mórahalom’s experiences accessible to an even wider audience.

Whether arriving alone, as a couple, or with family, guests are entitled to this discount after each night spent at any of the participating private accommodations.

How does this work in practice?
For example, if 2 people stay for 3 nights at a listed accommodation, both guests are entitled to purchase discounted tickets equal to the number of nights – in this case 2 × 3, meaning a total of 6 discounted tickets.

It is important to note that eligibility for discounted tickets is linked to the booking and can be used from the day of arrival until departure, according to the number of nights.

The development aims to make Mórahalom’s popular attractions easily accessible to tourists arriving in Szeged, strengthening the tourism connection between the two destinations and increasing the region’s appeal.

Eligibility requires a Tourism Card, which can be obtained after a 1 – 2 minute free registration and is sent via email in PDF format. This document contains a unique QR code identifying the guest and must be presented at the accommodation.

The host scans the code and virtually loads discounted coupons onto the balance associated with the Tourism Card. The spa and/or Ezer Év Parkja deduct from this balance when services are used, so please have your card ready before entry.
