Our winery has been operating since 1992 in Ásotthalom, in the southern part of Hungary, between the Danube and the Tisza. We currently own 38 hectares of vineyards.
In our areas in the southernmost part of the Csongrád wine region, we owe the excellent quality of the grapes used as the raw material of our wines to the exceptionally high number of hours of sunshine, the unique composition of the loess sandy soil and our conscientious work. In our winery we process exclusively grapes grown in our own area and make our wines to the satisfaction of our visitors. The sandy soil is not very acidic, it is fiery enough and wines that are popular for everyday consumption are made. They are succulent, full-bodied, varietal. It is not the soil but the grape variety that gives our wines their character.
Our cultivated grape varieties are the characteristic acidic Rhine Riesling, the fruity and wildflower Chardonnay and the intensely scented Ottonel muscat. In our newly planted area, the Green Veltelini and Cserszeg spicy grapes contribute to the expansion of our variety selection. We make rosé wine with an elegant pink appearance and a very delicate fruity aroma from Kékfrankos grapes.
We make our wines with reductive and traditional technology, the quality of which is evidenced by our beautiful results in domestic and international wine competitions. In our winery we provide the opportunity to organize family celebrations or corporate gatherings. We welcome groups of up to 40 people in our wine showroom, which is furnished with sophisticated oak furniture. In addition to the wine presentation, we are at the service of our guests with a rich selection of hot and cold dishes on request.
